AutoSilent is a convenient app for iPhone and iPad users that automatically mutes your device during meetings, scheduled times, or at selected locations. It offers a 7-day free trial period, after which you can purchase an auto-renewing subscription through an In-App Purchase. Without a subscription, you won't have access to premium features such as scheduling events, location events, and calendar events. However, the basic feature of timer events will still work.

The app provides an auto-renewable subscription option with a monthly price of $1.99. Your subscription will be charged to your iTunes account upon confirmation of purchase and will automatically renew at the selected duration unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Please note that you cannot cancel the current subscription during the active subscription period, but you can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal through your iTunes Account Settings following purchase.

In case you encounter any issues with identifying a purchased subscription, try quitting and reopening the app first. If that doesn't resolve the problem, click on "Restore Purchases."

The first tab in the app displays the next silent event found in your iPhone calendars. Note that this tab is not intended for adding or modifying events; you should use your Calendar application for adding or modifying events as AutoSilent will automatically synchronize with your calendars.

Upon initial launch, please allow AutoSilent to access your current location and notifications.

AutoSilent works by synchronizing with your calendars and automatically muting your device during meetings. It also reverts your device back to regular/ring mode after the meeting ends. The app is location-based, meaning it can detect your current location and automatically mute your device when you're at school or university. It will then set your device back to regular/ring mode when you leave those locations.

With AutoSilent, you don't have to worry about missing important calls because you forgot to unmute your phone or being embarrassed by alerts during meetings—let AutoSilent handle it for you.

In the Calendar tab, you can view the next meeting that AutoSilent will automatically mute your device for. In the Locations tab, you can see a list of locations where AutoSilent will mute your device automatically. You can click on any of the location rows to make modifications.

In the Settings tab, there are several options available:

• Calendar Silent: Enables or disables mute for calendar events.
• Location Silent: Enables or disables mute for location events.
• Ring/Silent Notification: Enables or disables notification alerts when the device changes from mute to unmute mode or vice versa.
• Next Silent Event: Specifies the number of days to look forward for the next silent event in your calendars (defaults to 30 days).
• Location Radius: Specifies the radius within which AutoSilent checks for location events (defaults to 500 meters).
• Calendar: Selects the calendar to check for calendar events (defaults to all calendars).
• Silent Out Of Office: Silences the phone during "Out Of Office" events.
• Keep Mute Status: When selected, AutoSilent will not change your device to ring mode if it was silent before the event started.
• Only !silent events: AutoSilent will only look for "!silent" events in your selected calendars.
• Mute on WiFi network: Enter "_all" for all WiFi networks or the name of the WiFi network that AutoSilent will use to mute your device when connected. The app will unmute your device when disconnected from that network.

Please note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
